Our Philosophy

Propertylink recognises that good responsible investment practices are increasingly important to many investors, particularly with regards to investment risk. Good sustainability practices in the development and management of our assets can make a meaningful contribution to environmental and social sustainability and can enhance and maintain asset values. Good practices in our workplace and the way in which we employ and engage our team can improve their work experience, wellbeing and productivity.

Our vision with sustainability is to achieve enhanced returns and quality of our through maintaining strong relationships with our key stakeholders, actively managing short and longer-term environmental, social and governance risks and leveraging associated value-add opportunities.

We have set and are working to deliver three strategic objectives for the period 2017 to 2019.


We are currently in the foundation stage of Propertylink’s sustainability program, including:

  1. Establishing an environmental data management system for our portfolio of assets and corporate operations.
  2. Benchmarking the environmental performance of our properties, such as with NABERS.
  3. Determining and implementing value-adding environmental upgrade projects in our properties.
  4. Commencing public sustainability reporting.
  5. Commencing participation in the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB).


Sustainability Management

Executive responsibility for sustainability is held by our General Manager of Asset Management and Development, reporting to our Board. Performance is overseen by our Sustainability Committee, comprising of senior leaders across core disciplines in our business.


Propertylink is a member of the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA), the Property Council of Australia (PCA) and the Asia Pacific Real Estate Association (APREA).

Community Support

Propertylink is a principal partner for Batting for Change which assists the education of disadvantaged women in cricket-playing nations. For further details can be found at
